High Temp Mesh

High Temperature Mesh Materials

High temperature mesh materials are crucial for applications requiring durability and performance at elevated temperatures. These meshes come in various configurations and materials to suit different temperature requirements and applications.

High temperature mesh is produced using various methods. PTFE mesh is created by slitting and expanding, while polyester or nylon woven mesh is made through a precision weaving process, capable of achieving openings as small as 1 micron.

Whether you need polypropylene for cost efficiency or PTFE for extreme heat resistance, we have a high temperature mesh solution to meet your requirements.

Temperature Tolerances

  • PTFE – suitable for continuous use temperatures up to 500 degrees F (260 degree Celsius)
  • Nylon – heat deflection temperature of 347 degrees F (175 degrees Celsius)
  • Polyester – suitable for continuous use temperatures up to 270 degrees F (132 degrees Celsius)
