High Temp Mesh

Extruded PET or PBT Plastic Netting

Nylon Resin Mesh suitable for high temperature environments

Polypropylene is the most cost effective choice for ambient temperatures but the heat deflection temperature is just 194°F (90°C). It softens at 310°F (154°C) and melts at 329°F (165°C).

Contrast that with Extruded Nylon 6 which reaches its softening point at 374°F (190°C) and melts at 428°F (220°C).

Polyester mesh is suitable for continuous use to 270°F (132°C). We also offer a PET/PP blend suitable for temperatures to 400°F.

Our PTFE expanded plastic mesh is rated for continuous use temperatures up to 500°F (260°C).

High Temperature mesh is available in a variety of configurations. PTFE mesh is produced by slitting and expanding. A precision weaving process is used to create polyester or nylon woven mesh with openings as small as 1 micron.

Nylon products are made from resin that complies with FDA regulations for food contact.
