Plastic Cage Netting

Cage netting, which involves farming fish for food in floating cages, is one of the most convenient forms of fish production. This method can be used by anyone with access to a natural or artificial pond or lake. The primary advantage of cage culture is that it allows 'fish gardening' in bodies of water unsuitable for more intensive aquaculture.

Heavy-duty aquaculture cage netting helps protect against cormorants, loons, turtles, otters, crabs, and other predators. You can select the aperture or hole size needed for protection and maximum water flow. Made from long-lasting UV stabilized polyethylene (PE) resin, this netting guarantees maximum service life. It is available in 48”-wide rolls or cut-to-size pieces, making it easy to fabricate trays, traps, or pens.

Bird Exclusion Plastic Netting

For effective separation of your fish from potential predators, plastic netting provides both physical protection and a visible deterrent. Marine culture farms use durable, lightweight predator net as perimeter protection at the shoreline and stretched over the tops of ponds and raceways to keep birds out.

Bird net (predator net) is made from UV stabilized polypropylene (PP) and is available in rolls up to 17 feet wide. Accessories such as polyclips and cable ties facilitate easier installation.

Standpipe Filters

Plastic mesh filter tubes are made from the same UV stabilized resin as our cage netting. Whether you have a plant-only pond, or one stocked with fish, a water circulation system is essential to keep it clean, healthy, and algae-free. The pump and aerator are at the heart of this system.

Our standpipe filters help keep debris away from your pump and aerator. Choose from one of four standard sizes to fit over schedule 40 PVC pipe.
